Does anyone know how to remove the harness in the picture below?

@hzhao might be able to help!

You probably looked for this, but Do the sides have an internal pressure fit clip?

If you have the screen taken out, can you take more pics of the wiring and the connectors behind the infotainment screen and the cd changer area?

I was able to remove the harness by tilting and lifting the gray connector up. I forgot to take the photos of the back of the unit before I packed it up to ship it out but you could look at the unit here and they hav photo it the back.

I will add some picture of the harness later.

after removing the unit, I do not have the temperature display and able to make changes anymore. The rear seat could see the temp setting and make changes.

Are you sending unit off to one of those repair sites?

Just saw the post and you already got all the harness off. The rear A/C control and display part will work but I don't think it will ACTUALLY regulate the temp and fan speed anymore. It was part of the main control unit function, and regulation command is sent via CANBUS.

I sent it to a friend in Houston. He is going to take a look at it and may be try to find a used unit for me if he could not do anything with it.

also, I noticed the used nits for the GS350 is a lot cheaper, ~$350 range. Why is there such a difference to our units?

Simply put, could be different control unit, volume driven. GS units may have shared with other Toyota line of cars (worldwide)...... Just a guess.

Default 2012 460 radio volume issue (SAT and Bluetooth)

Good morning,

New 460 owner here and I couldn't be happier! I've had 2 FJs before and it's night and day differences. That said, I'm out of warranty but have an extended one with IWS. My radio in SAT mode or BT-Bluetooth will go nuts and once you change the volume using the dash *****, the volume runs up and down all over, and to change the stations it does the same, alters the volume, all over. This DOES NOT happen on the normal FM setting, and I can still change volume via my steering wheel controls just fine for both, but not change the SAT stations via the steering wheel.

The unit was serviced before by Lexus under warranty but my local dealer just choose to ignore this and said I'd have to pay out of pocket, P&L, etc. so I got the warranty I had that has $100 deductible and gives me 4yr/48k miles bumper to bumper like the factory and I'll let them handle it. I just wonder if it's happened to others and if they fixed it themselves somehow?

I'm also still learning the features, like the mirrors pointing down while in R, worked when I first picked it up last Thursday afternoon, and not sure what I pushed or changed but that stopped now. Otherwise it's had the 40k service and I'm planning on lifting it shortly, thanks for the help!

Not sure on the radio issue if only happening on a few sources. As for the mirrors your switch below control is likely in the center position. Put it either set on left or right mirror.

That's one of those 10-13 unicorns there.

Only thing I remember someone posting about was working in a dealership and only seeing one of them in person.

Pic of the screen on just climate.

Ironically it has a physical fan switch too.. this is desired function of many with nav.
