Has anyone experienced the issue of the memory seat losing its setting? I've had this occur a few times now where if I go from either setting #1 (wife) to setting #2 (me), or vice versa, it loses the position that were programmed. If it matters, 2015 GX that had a new battery put in about 1 year ago, no issues with anything else with the vehicle.
Do you have Techstream or OBD Fusion? You might have some codes. These types of codes don't trigger the Check Engine Light.
Wonder if issue with that "Outer Mirror Control ECU Assembly LH"? Any other oddities? So along with seats, mirrors and steering wheel don't move as well?
A few excerpts from FSM
"When a door is unlocked, the certification ECU sends a door unlock signal and key ID signal to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). When the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) receives the door unlock signal, it stores the key ID. When the driver door is opened, the memory call and memory command information of the stored key ID is sent to each driving position related control ECU. Each control ECU receives the memory commands and performs the memory call operation according to predetermined control timing values."
"The main body ECU receives seat memory switch signals from the outer mirror control ECU via CAN communication. If the SET switch is being pressed when one of the M1 or M2 switches is pressed, or if one of the M1 or M2 switches is pressed within 3 seconds of pressing the SET switch, the main body ECU sends a memory request signal to the front power seat switch LH. After receiving the request signal, the front power seat switch LH memorized location data of each motor. "
Try calibrating the seats too. Might want to do a general reset. Pull the negative for 30 seconds. Reconnect. Move seat all the way forward. Then all the way back. Lean seat all the way forward then all the way back. I can't confirm this works exactly the same for the GX but for other Lexus models it helps the computer understand positioning and is necessary to program presets.
