Yes, our backlit SS3 LED pods launched today for pre-order but our Lexus CGX fog light kit is still in development.

SS3 LED Fog Light Kits will include an amber backlight option.

Our general SS3 LED pods with our universal mounting brackets now offer white, amber, red, or a blue backlight option.

Well, there we go, I guess that’s a nice little bonus while we waited for the bracket. So will the vehicle specific kit have the option of a plug and play adapter that supports the backlight? I.e., an OE plug to pod plug with a pigtail for the backlight?

Sorry for any confusion. The CGX vehicle-specific kit is still in development at this moment.

The SS3 backlit is plug-and-play, however, there will be an included wire lead to tap to the power source of your choice. It's most common to tap the lead to the parking or running lights. When the main beam of the SS3 is turned on, an internal override will turn off the backlight.

Oh, no confusion here, should have said wait, not waited. Thanks for the clarification on the wiring, that will be great! Sorry to have missed the Black Friday sale though, but seems like you have them once in a while. Have a wonderful thanksgiving!

Yes, there were fitment issues for the 2010-2013 Lexus GX460.

Our bracket has been revised to relaunch the kit in the upcoming weeks!

We don't have plans for the 2014+ GX460 featuring our SSC1 LED pods at this time. Sorry about that!

Our team is working on all media coverage at this time for the 2010-2013 GX460 SS3 fog light kit. This includes our installation guide, installed images, and YouTube installation video.

Thanks for the value add, now I have to come back and listen to an LOL to keep getting notifications. Not sure why you don’t understand the differences that were clearly posted here on 2010-2013, or what your problem is with the updates?

I completely understand the differences., thus the LOL. I like to think that I understand these differences more than most likely anyone else here, and with good reason. The LOL is because theres not really much to designing a mount for any light, even for use on multiple vehicles. this is why there are 4 mounts but all are not used on the GX/LX/etc. There's not anything special about the GX, even 2010-2013. If I remember correctly there was only 1 version needed, which had 2 variants.
If a company really wanted to supply this part they could within a month or two of the decision to go ahead. I do appreciate the updates, of course. But look at how long this thread has been going on, and think about it, people still waiting for a design for a 2010!
