The HomeLink in my 11 is not "current" enough to work the openers at my home... Will a later model mirror work in the my 11?

I have also looked at removing the center overhead console and replacing it with a later model one without HomeLink buttons and then adding aftermarket HomeLink to that replacement console...

JALinker: That would probably be the most cost effective replacement assuming it is compatible.
