stoomac: Are you seeing it listed in the recall/service campaign area of Lexus Drivers site?

No service/recall campaign on my 18. I was at the dealer for the 10k service last week, they didn’t mention anything. Maybe the 18s are next?

Mine is a 2018 so would expect you will get something shortly unless it’s a VIN specific issue , though the notice doesn’t indicate that.

I emailed Lexus support and they stated:

"Thank you for contacting Lexus about your 2012 GX 460/JTJJM7FX8C5XXXXXX. We appreciate the opportunity to provide clarity to your inquiry."

We have conducted this search on your behalf and confirmed there are no open Safety Recalls or Service Campaigns for this vehicle related to your vehicle's GPS system. If we do initiate any type of Safety Recall Campaign (SSC) or Service Campaign in the future, you will be notified directly via first class mail."

I contacted Lexus too and looks like 2010 isn't on the list either. Maybe it will change in the future.

We have a 2017 GX, and due to our sometimes COLD winters here in NC, I wanted to get the remote feature of Enform.
I called Lexus today and they tell me they didn't offer ala-carte services until 2019 (?), and that I would have to sign
up for both Security and Remote just to get Remote... ( WTH ?!?! $160/year instead of $80/year subscription. )
I could "try it" for $16/month. What kind of math do they practice anyway ?

I have a bad habit of not buying stuff I don't want, so I guess we can live without that stuff completely. Dang

Does it show that same purchase limitation on their mobile app?

https://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrive...ology/lexusapp

Launch App --> Click on your Vehicle Description on top of screen --> Subscriptions ---> ADD SERVICES

I cannot even register using the app. When I try to add my VIN I get a popup that says:

"There were no trial subscriptions found for your vehicle. Please call for assistance."...

I can only call them, and am not offered any menu for modifying my choices.

Boo Hoo...

The $80/year ($8/month) Safety Connect provides the connectivity between you, your car and Lexus.
Can find the stolen/crashed car, has 3/4 watt phone (we carry 1/3 watt cellphones) and has an external antenna.
Quick connection to Roadside Assistance, they know where you are even if you don't

The optional $80/year or $8/month Lexus App provides Remote Start, Lock/Unlock, Hazard Flasher enable,
Guest Driver Monitor, Vehicle Status and uses the Connectivity provided by Safety Connect.

The third optional service is Destinatlon Assist which hooks you up to a live operator for, you guessed it
$80 or $8... While I don't take this extra feature it would make an Uber Drivers life a bit easier.

Your choice(s) are 1) Pay nothing get none of them, 2) Pay for just Safety Connect, 3) Pay for both S.C. and Remote App.
4) Pay for both S.C. and Destination Assist, 5) Pay for all three that the initial trial period included.
6) Pay once for an installed Remote Start that only uses the fob and pay no subscription
7) Pay once for and installed R.S. that has a phone app and pay a subscription for that

I wish that eDestinations had not been discontinued but I guess not enough use. For '14+ you can always leverage your mobile device for destination additions but 10-13 do not have those options.
