Default Brake pad advice?

It’s time to get my brakes done. My GX is out of warranty already. Do you recommend buying the Lexus brake pads or a third-party set. I am not sure if the Lexus brake pads would be super expensive or not. If so are they really worth the difference in price? I am having the brakes done at a local mechanic I trust . Rather than having it done at the Lexus dealer who is almost 100 miles away. Any advice you can offer would be much appreciated, thanks.

I have Akebono pads for both front and rear and they are holding up really well. The stopping power is good and I don't have any noise.
Pads are relatively cheap even with OEM parts. OEM quality is good but I usually go aftermarket for them.

Thanks guys, Akebono it is! Rotors are still in good shape and don’t need replacement.

If you are replacing pads only, ask your mechanic to have the rotors turned
