Default Air suspension soft

My suspension in my premium 2012 gx 460 with 80K miles has been noticeably soft and bottoming out frequently. Even the lexus dealer mechanic said it was unusual but didnt see anything wrong and that he would start with replacing the rear shocks. So i replaced the shocks and the suspension is not any different. This leads me to think there is something wrong with the air suspension. However, it lowers and rises and there is no leaning and the compressor works great and does not come on all the time. So what could cause the air bags not be as firm as they should be? Any suggestions?

Not sure...

You may want to consider some Timbrens on the back if staying stock with AVS/RAHC

They may need to adjust the rear height. We ran into this issue on a brand new 2018 luxury. The rear end height dropped when they installed the tow hitch before delivery. It was about an inch too low and was bottoming out. I’d measure from the ground to the fender at the center of the wheel and see if it’s roughly 36”. If it’s lower than that they may need to adjust it up. Also have they checked the ride height sensors?
