I believe the second image showing the compartment is for the plastic reflect emergency triangle display. It is only as part of mandated emergency kit for outside US/Canada market.

You can get all the missing tools on eBay. Many Lexus vehicles included the necessary wrenches and pliers, so don;t just target ones for GXs. I'd just search "Lexus toolkit" or "Lexus tools" and you should get a bunch of hits. Even better if you can find of the older tools that are stamped Lexus and Made in Japan.
Lead Lap
LOL, yep it is silly but I purchased all the items to "fill mine up". My OCD just wouldn't let me have all the empty spots....probably will NEVER use any of the tools but I get some weird satisfaction knowing they are there.
Driver School Candidate
Unless someone else comes up with a better place, I just bought a tool bag at home depot. I put the tow hitch and other odds and ends especially a pair of gloves.
