I was looking at this amplifier removal video on Youtube and I assume this is the non-ML amplifier.

• This says 2014+ but any '10-'13 owners with non-ML stereo confirm amplifier is in same location under front passenger seat. There is nothing under my passenger seat but I have ML.

• Is the non-ML radio actually a Pioneer unit? The schematics seem to indicate that.


I believe the ML amplifier is back in the subwoofer location in the left rear cargo area.

 

My LS430 is a non nav, non ML system and it has a Pioneer factory amp and speakers. That being said, it makes sense if the non-ML GX rigs have Pioneer gear from the factory.

One of these days, I'm actually going to go through my GX and figure out where all of the 17 speakers for the ML system are hidden...

As soon as we heard the ML system, it became our must-have item. The first dealer we went to (#EAD Northside Lexus!!!!) had a ML demo CD which really pushes the system and shows you what it is capable of. Every future Lexus purchase will have the ML system for us...

 

I'm really happy with it too. Only thing I have had in other cars is Bose and this sounds far superior
