Hit a wooden shipping pallet this morning and it fortunately only scuffed up and chipped the front lower spoiler. Didn't crack it which is a plus but does anyone have a color code for the part. Dealer had no clue. Since its removable I'm either going to have it sprayed or do it myself if I can get a color code to match. I can't imagine it would be much to R/R if I remove it and reinstall it. The part is over $d400 which like most of Lexus part is overpriced and it doesn't come painted. Dog trashed the rear climate surround and that cost about $100 for a piece of painted plastic.

 

Is it even noticeable? Got any pictures?

 

Buffed the lower so its not bad. There is a couple of larger chips on the face that are to the black plastic. May try a dark graphite metallic to attempt to blend it but silvers are not easy. Its a lease but I am picky. Can't see it from a couple of feet and you have to bend down to look so its no big deal. A rock could do the same and could happen again so spending $$$ isn't worth it.

 

Old school body shop will do it for $100 if I pull it and drop it off. He sounded like he could match it and was willing to try. For me its worth it because it only has 5500 miles on the odo and I'll see it everytime I wash it. Will something happen again - probably not for a while. Could not find a color touch up to match it and frankly if its off it will look worse.

 

Did anyone find out what color code is? I called Lexus they said they don’t have color code for it. I have a 2018 Lexus GX460. I scratched my back bumper.
