@Jacket I just started having this issue with my gauges and your thread is the closest I’ve seen to the issue. Here’s a video of what’s happening? Does this look like a symptom of the bad rear abs module? It’s intermittent and I can’t do anything to reproduce it. Gauges are going bonkers while driving as well. Dealer checked it and is just pointing the finger at my bear sonic CarPlay module. First they thought it was due to water intrusion and then the obd mirror closer. Where is stand now is they unplugged the CarPlay unit and said to let them know if it happens again. I highly doubt it’s the cause.

@Bluemica1 Do you have any codes?

If you don't have Techstream this will pull codes from the entire vehicle

Dealer probably cleared all the codes after they unplugged the beatsonic unit, but I'll check. I just purchased the OBDlink MX+ and I'll download the necessary app, so it comes back i'll report back with the codes. Do you recommend a certain ios app?

Just use the app that comes free with that adapter.

OBDLink

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/obdlink/id879636351

Advantage of this adapter and app is all vehicles and years are covered in the same price. No need to purchase expansion packs.

Yea - you'll need to pull the trouble codes to be sure. The weird blinky dash lights are common across many issues so you'll need the specific code to narrow it down.

That almost seems like a wire short somewhere

Any other 3rd party devices wired into the vehicle?

Unfortunately, some of those codes I’ve never seen mentioned before

Interesting. No idea really. That's a lot of codes that maybe point to a break in ECM communications, but as to why is hard to say. Did the codes/dash indicators come back after the dealer cleared them and unplugged the CarPlay unit? Any other significant flooding/raining/puddles/car wash activity that might be involved?

@Acrad I have the 12v solutions remote starter. That's it.

@Jacket Nothing after they cleared it. When I presented them the original issue they said it was due to water intrusion and replaced my carpet, removed all the water, etc. due to clogged sunroof drain. The fact that it occurred again after they cleaned everything and are blaming the carplay just doesn't make sense.

Does it make sense to leave the OBD+ tool left plugged into the OBD port in case the issue comes back and I can quickly read them? Or should it be left off and plug it in when it occurs?

You can leave the OBD MX plugged in. It will power off shortly after turning vehicle off.

@Jacket Same exact issue just popped up on my GX as your original. GX came back from dealer regarding another issue (posted another thread on that... transmission issues). Giant snow storm just came through and now I have the same lights as you. ABS, Trac, Brake, rear Dif, and 4LO... no CEL. Taking it in to the dealer to do a diagnostic and will keep this updated with what they find.

To echo what another user has said, Lexus's MO seems to be "replace entire system instead of troubleshooting". However, I have actually had some good luck with negotiating with the service center, usually by offering a path to troubleshoot if I am familiar enough with the problem to suggest a path.

Crossing my fingers its an ABS wiring issue. But as another has said, seems to have corresponded to some precipitation event.
