I'll try using different gas - but I don't think that is what the issue is.

I also don't think it new transmission programming - the truck has a built date of July 2018, a month ago. Will try it again today and see if there are any changes. Seems to only happen when on the freeway going from 40mph to 60-70mph.

I had a very similar issue with my RCF - throttle response would lag trying to come out of a corner or go from cruising to accelerating. Lot's of posts on the RCF forum about it , not really a fix for it that I can recall. Some guys put in the Apexi controllers and indicated better results but I'm not sure that fixes the core issue which to me seemed like it stayed in 5th or 6th as the car slowed down instead of downshifting.

yeah, I hear ya but unfortunately this seems to be the only option.
