Default Draw-tite hitch?

I did a search and noted lots of you have the Curt 13043 hitch. Is there anyone using the Draw-Tite 75685 or the U-Haul 75209 hitch? I checked U-Haul and they have the Draw-tite hitch for $120 CAD, that's like $85 USD!

They all work pretty much the same. Depends on what are you using it for. The Draw-Tite extends a bit longer out than the Curt and it's usually more expensive than Curt in the US so $85 is a pretty good price. Some bike racks may need to extend out further to clear the bumper. I have a generic one and beside the weld joints are not as smooth as the Curt, it looks and works the same.

Curt is shorter than the Draw-Tite

I went with the draw tite 75685 on my 2015 It has towed anything the GX is rated for. $ 99.05 Ebay free shipping with mounting bolts.

Can anyone with a Lexus factory hitch comment on how much it sticks out pass the bumper? Do I have it wrong or does the Lexus factory hitch sticks out more than the Curt? It would be great if someone can comment on how far does the factory hitch sticks out.

Actually, found this post https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gx-...l#&gid=1&pid=1

looks like the Curt is the most discrete, follow by the Draw-tite and the Lexus factory one sticks out the most. Agree?

You may still want to consider getting a bumpstep when not towing or carrying cargo.... leaves something for the careless to hit rather than your bumper. Of course one could always leave the ball mount on there but other vehicle will take significant damage when they hit this. I had a co-worker years back rear end a lifted 4x4 with ball mount in his Ford Ranger. He hit hard enough to apparently crack the block in the 2.3L 4-cylinder motor in that rig.

That would be with a real stinger :-)

I've definitely hit a few of those over the years.

Draw tite #75685 on my 2015 GX..........Mattau if you needed the hitch to stick out further for a bike rack you could use an extension . They sell them at Harbor freight for about $12. Good Luck.....
