I've been loving the progress on your Nori Green GX and I wish to do some of the same upgrades. Do you have a list Diode Dynamic LED bulbs you need for the interior and running boards?

Thank you
Hi,
Hey thank you. I had another member ask me the same so here is the list you will need for all interior and under the running boards plus reverse lights.
I've used Diode Dynamics for the past 5 or so years with great experiences on many different vehicles. The GX uses:
You will need: 2 visors 2 map 2 center roof 2 back roof 4 doors
I used the HP5 (same LED type but a bit brighter) for the exterior under the running boards. You will need a total of 4 for the running boards. The wife's 2019 uses the HP3s but I wanted a bit more light so went with the HP5 194s just for the exterior running boards.
You will also want to ditch the lame reverse lights. It's not a pain... but you do need to remove the rear flaps. First one should take out about 7-8 min and the other one about 3 min once you find out how to remove the plastic. I couldn't see backing up the driveway on my 4Runners or the wife's GX so these were also purchased when I got the interior LEDs: https://www.diodedynamics.com/backup...nner-pair.html
XP90. They are not cheap, but never had an issue. 4Runner is the same bulb type as the GX. My 4Runner had them in for nearly 4 years before I traded the truck in. Plus.. the light they throw out is 100% better.
Trick to getting the plastic lens out in the interior is a very small flat head. Use a flash light and you will see the tabs where you need to gently pry. The map lights and roof lights are recessed. Get some painters tape or any tape and wrap it around the bulb and pull. You won't be able to get your fingers around the bulbs. Tape makes it a lot easier.

Congrats on your truck!
@bowhun2r, thank you for your detail post. I've been noticing a lot of post with people reflecting DD LEDs so have been searching for what exactly LEDs they got. Got'em ordered tonight.
@torquedip, try coupon code "SHIPPING" to get free shipping. I googled this but didn't need it as DD is in the same city.
Some minimum changes I’ve made to mine to make it feel a little different for me. I’ve swapped all the incandescent lights to LED. Added the cross bars and had the lower chrome trim piece from the sport design package that I didn’t opt for being I wanted the bench in the second row added to my front lower grill and the sport design mirror covers. And I also recently added the GROM Vline to give me access to wireless Apple CarPlay and some other apps I wanted. Also swapped the four Incandescent signals to a much brighter LED. Im not sure what else is in store for her next. Also have the hood, fenders and front lights protected from chips with PPF and the vehicle fully ceramic coated with GTechniq
Any consensus on the best way to switch out the 2022 "altezza" style tail lights for the sport red ones?
I ordered these from Danyang Kailite Auto off of Alibaba and they worked perfectly, no codes and I really prefer the look to that of the clear ones that came on my wife’s 17 and over the red that came factory on my 13. If you spend 15 minutes swapping these out, you took a coffee break doing so. It is really easy to do.
