Absolutely love my new GX. Getting windshield replaced (oem windshield replacement because it had barely noticeable crack when I purchased), then window tint, front to match back, but thinking maybe a bit darker than oem back tint? I was think 22%...
Any tips or suggestions regarding after market tint?
Also, I know some ppl rave about the chrome touches, but I want chrome delete. Esp for window area and side molding. Wish handles didn’t include as well. Any tips or opinions on how to make this happen for Starfire pearl? I know I see it in black all the time. Not as easy to wrap or remove and buff out for pearl I’d imagine. I’m sure I can use vinyl wrap for window chrome but side moldings not sure? I don’t like the idea of pearl with black finish. Tough because you can’t white out pearl.
Third step, wheels. I’d like a slight lift kit with sporty black wheels/rims that aren’t flashy.
I secure trailers and such with pins or temporary locks while towing but I don't normally keep a lock on my hitch accessories when unladen from cargo or transport.

Bought a BumpStep for when the hitch isn't on there... let others crash into that. I have some Weather LP frame covers but plates haven't arrived yet. In WA state new plates are always issued with new owners unless a vehicle is gifted IIRC.
Picked up the stock cargo area net cheap off of eBay. Also put on the OEM crossbars and OEM Chrome exhaust tip.
Gave GX a rough bath yesterday evening... may have to hold it until spring. Just a short run of nice weather here in NW US.
Used some silicone spray on all the latches around vehicle from doors, hood, rear door for all kinds of angles (seems to be a trouble spot) as well as the spare tire winch.
I've thought about proactively taking the rear door panel off and lubricating that entire barn door mechanism as a proactive measure to ensure I don't have problems with it down the road. Those bicycle cable setups they use today for lock mechanisms in the doors seem to eventually fail when the grease dries up and the temps fall.

I need to get in there for my camera problem and figured this would be a good time to lube. WD-40 or is there something better for this?
