Is this actually an OEM option in other markets? I'd be interested but not read to tear into any splicing/soldering yet.. looks like there aren't any plug and play modules.

 

from my understanding, LEXUS GX is the same as Prado 150 and those SUV owners have successfully done it.

I have not given up on this, just busy with other mods.

This is for a 17 GX. Need to find a way to send the signal to pin 28 of the body ecu when the doors are locked for it to work. Unfortunately the ground wire listed, also shares the same ground with the door lock control, but the locks operate when the ground is removed, so that won't work.

 

installing a Dash Cam and figuring out how to make my high beam LED like my low beam, any help would be appreciated.

Also, I need to install remote start that works from my phone because the key fob range is pathetic. Any input on PT398-60151?

 

Installed the dashcam on all my vehicles...super easy - buy the hardwire kit for $11 - do not direct wire without the kit or you WILL fry the camera. Total was ~$90 installed w/32GB micro SD card.

Would love to see if there is a direct plug-in mod for the folding mirrors - someone want to try it?

Looks like we need to send negative (-) to blue wire when the car is locked on the switch plug to get the mirrors to close and remove the negative (-) from it for that same blue wire to open up mirrors again when the car is unlocked.
Also the ignition has to be in off position, witch i can figure out how to do unless i tap in to the mirrors motor directly.
Anyone can help with electric diagram on how to archive that?

 

i got these diagrams from a kit I bought off eBay. Supposedly that kit works for Lexus GX made in Europe. It asked me to cut too many wires so I returned it.

So i bit the bullet and purchased a kit for Alixpress and will attempt to install on my wife's 2015 premium once it arrives. I will let you all know how it goes and if it did or did not work
