How would you do a partial fluid change?

 

... minus removing the pan and filter.

 

A simple drain and fill is a partial. A full exchange is this (and you do not need to remove the pan):

 

Just to confirm, DF is 4.5 qts without pandrop, but with pan and filter it should be?

On my 15 I usually get ~80 oz when I drain it. Best if you use the proper procedure to set the fluid level when removing the pan and filter.

 

My drain /fill leaving pan in place came to 3 qts or so as read on the pitcher I drained it into. I put 3.5 back in and then set the level per the procedure. I had the truck on 4 ramps.

 

I filled 5qts, and let the drain from overflow, dod not measure how much came from overflow

 

Put front of car on jack stands and drained 3.25 qts. Leveled car, then put in 4qts. Got 0.5qts out from overflow.

Capacity: 6 speed With Atf cooler A760F Total Fill 11.8 quarts.
Capacity: 6 speed Without ATF Cooler A760F Total Fill 11.6 quarts.
Capacity: 3.2 quarts Initial Fill.
