Hello everyone, new to the GX/4Runner platform after owning and wheeling an outfitted LR3 for several years. I plan on doing mild mods here and there for now. My GX does not have air suspension; therefore I'm looking to add a small level/lift. I have seen several owners do this without any issues. Upon calling around a few shops I've been told that there is a hydrolic line that runs around/in the front struts that aren't supposed to be messed with. Is this true? If so, how did you overcome this issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Although I don't need it, I have searched before and the only product I found so far was a suspension enhancement system, not the traditional AirLift system:
