i am not sure to be honest. they are the factory 18's. last time i went in he said they were all off by 3oz except the passenger front was 9oz. i am going to have to go back in cause they are wandering again.

Sorry, had assumed aftermarket wheels. 3oz is nothing at all for a K02, the 9oz is not terrible, but for the weight (guessing 75lbs for the wheel tire combo) its not crazy either. I'd recommend at least 42psi up front and 40psi outback and see if that helps your wandering issue. If that still does not resolve it, check the alignment, open toe on the front wheels will cause more wander than closed toe. The tire wander wont be caused by bad balance, bad balance will just cause vibrations and added road noise.

Did you get C or E load? What's the total weight on your wheel/tire combo?

Hopefully i have better luck with the C load (6 ply). What rack are you going with? I really like the Prinsu racks and hope they make one for the GX in the summer, at least that's what they told me in email.

I reached out to Slee Offroad as I heard them mentioned in this video for doing the shocks and lift on this GX. I noticed they have some electronic modules for locker control so I just threw out the idea of a possible aftermarket crawl switch option on the GX. I didn't suggest they make one but perhaps they may think about it. If they could come in with an option in the $50-$100 range it might entice more to take it on in a totally pre-packaged aftermarket setup.

The guy that contacted me has a '12 GX as well so was interested.

As for the video he mentioned shortly after the video was taken the owner had Slee install front and rear ARB lockers, their 5th Gen 4Runner sliders as well as the Front Runner Rack.

Did the full Mojave Road in my bone stock '17 Lux a couple weeks ago. 147 miles over 3+ days. Was totally impressed with how it handled everything as were the 4Runners and Jeep I was with. I did have some minor issues with the front belly pan dragging a bit at times but did a pretty loose and rocky climb that required 4Lo and it handled it like a champ!

Dry Soda Lake: 5 mile journey across; can get muddy out there.

Throw a UC Berkeley frame on that plate and it looks just like mine.

Hey dwwalter, where is this Mojave Road, and is it open to the public?
Gonna be doing some cross country traveling in the next several months and would love to wheel and camp in a place like that.

The Mojave Road runs right across the middle of the Mojave National Preserve roughly between Laughlin, NV and Baker, CA. It's absolutely open to the public and I'd highly recommend anyone having this route on their bucket list. There's lot's of information available online. Here's a couple things to check out as a starting point:

https://www.expeditionportal.com/for...-scout.120771/
https://www.nps.gov/moja/index.htm

Plenty of YouTube videos too.

Not so sure about doing it in the middle of the summer due to the extreme heat out there but spring and mid/late fall are ideal.

Plenty of YouTube videos too.

Any update on the Southern Style bumper?

BTW, I purchased a 2018 premium, debating whether get a dedicated M/T tires with wheels or replace the stockers with some KO2's. What you think?

Not really offroad...more like softroading LOL haha!

I drove a few hours to Bishop for fall colors and stopped by Lone Pine area to check out Alabama Hills. For those that are not familiar, Alabama Hills is where alot of movies were filmed, including The Lone Ranger, Iron Man, Star Trek etc... it is a very cool place to drive around and explore. It's BLM land so you can pretty much camp anywhere you wish.

A couple of videos...my first time ever uploading to youtube haha!
Excuse the music, the best free song I could find hahaha!
