Kind of interesting in trading our car in for the GX but worried that since this model has been out since 2010 that a body change will be coming on soon.

Anyone know when the next body change is scheduled for the GX?

 

A lot of people assumed that 2017 would be the update year, along with the Toyota 4Runner, however both the 4Runner and GX 460 are listed as not having standard automatic braking like the rest of the lineup for 2017. This would suggest that they likely will still be the current generation for 2017. Presumably, 2018 will be the next generation.

 

Go get one, enjoy it, and when the new one comes out, swap out after a few years

 

My lease is up soon and my next one will be a GX. The new car manager at my dealer told me yesterday that they are expecting a refresh with optional captains chairs for the rear seats. It will be the same generation with updated bumpers and possibly wheels.

 

Haha if its true.
New Car Manager might need to wait until 2018 though. 2017 this is going to chug along like the rest of em.
