Default Lexus Enform Starter

Does anybody park their GX in a parking garage @ work or ...
My wife works at a Hospital and parks the truck in a garage. She couldn't start the truck from inside the Hospital. I just figured the signal would be a little stronger.

Hospitals are pretty bad for reception in general. Thick buildings, lots of equipment, lots of shielding, etc.

How is the garage structured? I don't have the enform starter but RES+ which works similar on a cellular signal.

With that said, I park my car 2 floors underground so my remote starter doesn't work through the app. I also dont get regular cellular server down there from my phone so I wouldn't expect the cell signal from the car to work either.

Bottom line is if the truck is parked where there is poor cell reception the remote app probably isn't going to work well. I have a Viper remote start in my GX with the app and when I'm at my parents house in NH it does not work at all, it's based on AT&T cellular signal and there in no AT&T signal available at their house. At my office the AT&T signal is poor and it's hit or miss here.

Hope this helps.

I kind of figured that's was the problem at Hospital and today I tried at home with my home wi-fi just the at&t network and it wouldn't work. Turn it back and works. Thanks for the response guys and gals...
I might have to do a an aftermarket remote.
