Verified FAT32 formatted USB, 3 .JPG files in 'StartupImage' folder, it says it can't find any photos.

Gotta find another USB drive to try I guess.

 

I solved this myself - apparently I’ve got slightly newer software (mine went through an update when I installed the Enform App that enabled Alexa functionality). I had to name the folder Image not StartupImage. Works now.

 

I'm having a hard time finding an answer to this.

What's the image resolution for a custom start-up image? I want to add a customized image but don't know the correct resolution.

Some documentation referenced naming the folder StartupImage. On my 2017, I had to name the folder Image not StartupImage.

 

Thanks for this. I played around with the dimensions yesterday and found that 1200 x 720 made for a better fit -- there were no black areas at the top and bottom.
