Correct. It’s just a photo op for advertisement. And that’s more than Lexus has ever done. I was just reading up on the old VW V10 diesel Touareg. Amazing vehicle, except the obvious. Wish TMC would do something like that (with reliability).

You can contact CBI to get on the list. A few guys on mud have contacted them about it and are taking names.

One more boring post of stock GX with MTS + getting stuck overnight in the off-road park, the ranger closed the park and kicked me out. Thankfully I was able to use recovery tracks and a jack to get it off the mound this morning. No damage, but no thinking new tires and rock sliders.

Watch at 1.5x speed

When I told the wife I git stuck, she just started laughing at me.

JayPixelGX: Cool off-road park to play in

Yeah.. high centered is high centered :-)

Did you try to run Crawl Control for a period in "reverse" or were all wheels literally off the ground without traction?

Agree sliders and tires would have helped there

The park is great and seems to tolerate newbies like me.

The high center was tough. I had most of my weight towards the back so reverse was the answer plus the recovery tracks.
I tried with just the tracks under the front tires, but tires were still to high off the ground to get real grip. This was not the answer.
I put the stock Jack behind the front driver tire on the frame and pivoted the weight to the rear tires on the recovery tracks.
I used crawl control in reverse and bounced around in the driver seat to rock the weight around. It caught traction and moved back about 6inch until it lost the tracks and no longer could reverse. I set up the Jack again in the same spot and this time was able to have crawl control pull me off the mound, safely and slowly.

Just washed the mud off, checked underneath, and drove it on the highway 20 miles and no damage, thankfully even the running boards are fine.
Really glad I had the Crawl control and body armor. This is a really sturdy vehicle.

I had rescue tow cable and tree strap, with soft shackles thanks to reading the his and hers gx thread

Wow, he barely suffered any damage. My slide blew out my airbags and totaled the suv. Maybe this color is bad luck for offroading

Ouch!!! I totally missed that. Picture says August. I assume you walked away unscathed? Did you pick up another 460?
