Default emergency items storage

where are you all stashing your jumper cables and other emergency gear? i have a heavy quality set of jumper cables and i do not think i'll be able to stash them in that door compartment.

i put tie downs in the upper left side compartment. i know i can fit the triangle and flares somewhere but i'm stumped on a location for the jumper cables beyond having them get tossed around in the main cargo area.

do i need a smaller set of cables? i'd think that for a v8 i'd want to use the heavy set.

I am running without a spare so I put this waterproof bag in its place. It has an air compressor, plugs and fix a flat in it. You could strap the bag inside of the spare wheel.

Not mine, but this gives you size choices

Do you use the third row? Every time I go to use it, I always find something hidden in the foot area for the third row. If you don't use it often, you might be able to just toss it back there.

i use the 3rd row all the time.

tecman, i like your idea but i'm not sure that setup would work in the northeast with all the weather we get?
