The defenders are actually heavier than even stock at 37lbs each. The Premiers are 33lbs each. Yea it isnt much but combined with the TRD pro rims, its a pretty significant savings in unsprung weight.
The stock GX wheels and tire combo run about 64 lbs... 61 with the Fsport wheels, I think. What is the combined weight you're looking to achieve?
Heres a pic of the tires on the GX. Thing stayed clean for a day......
Anyways driving wise they are great. We are supposed to get pounded with snow over the next few days so will see how they do. But highway wise drive nice and smooth not rough at all.
So I just picked up a 2013 gx460 and will be making it into an overland rig. I really hate the stock wheels and tires that come on it and have a few choices for wheels I have in mind. I really want to grab a set of advan RG-D2s in a 17x8.5” with -10 offset. Looking to get some bfg km3s on them and was wondering if anyone is running these wheels and what’s the biggest tire I can go on the stock suspension? I do not mind doing BMC if needed or cutting anything. I want km3s as I run them in 37s on my tundra and love them. I will be going to kings OEM shocks in summer but for now I’m just doing wheels, tires and sliders. Bumper, shocks and ucas will come in summer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i can't help you with anything you are asking about, but those advans are really, really good looking wheels.
Just PM’d you Josh. As for my question hopefully someone can answer if the wheels 17x8.5 with a -10 offset will work on the GX with either 33x12.5r17s or a 32 inch tire? The ones on it look tiny and this will not be a street princess. Thanks

Ya it was between the advans and these gram lights, but the gram lights are 18x9. Wanted 17s since I am planning on going with 32-33 inch tires max so less wheel will give me more sidewall height for when I air down to go wheeling.
^^^ Nice, I will say Lexus has stepping up with nicer wheels lately. I still like after market wheels to separate the mundane OEM look though. So many GXs around me and rarely see aftermarket wheels.

I bought a set of the gram lights. Actually just got them this past week.
Lots of nice wheels available .. advans, volks, enkei, gram lights
also are there any changes between 2014 and 2020(apart from color)? the 2014s are cheaper and I could spend the money saved to have them powder coated.
thanks
