I do not have any suggestions except maybe Amazon, or Summit racing but I applaud your response!

I don't have them in my GX, but I had a set of Wet Okole neoprene seat covers in a Tacoma and loved them. I purchased them through Cabelas.

Thanks. I looked at those and I like the tight fit. We go fly fishing and get into the car with wet waders so I want something to protect the front and rear seats during that season.

Default Seat covers recommendation please

Hi! I just got a 2016 GX 460 Premium. Love the car. I'd like to purchase inexpensive cloth seat covers and carpet cargo mat (did not come with this SUV) that match Ecru interior.
Can somebody recommend something below $100 please? There are tons of options on ebay but I am hesitant to pick as I do not know if any of those covers block or interfere with airbags.
Are there any airbags in 2016 GX 460? I had limited options with my previous SUV - BMW X5 due to seat embedded airbags.

Many thanks in advance,
S

I don't think you'll find anyone here who has put seat covers on their GX, unfortunately.

This is an old thread. But I am wondering what you end up with.
i just bought 2010 gx460 and have the same problem - how to protect
the seats for my fly fishing trips.

I use these for my trips:

https://www.amazon.com/Premium-Water...t+covers&psc=1

while not complete wrap-around coverage, they stay put surprisingly well.
moreover, they go on and off easier than any others I have had.

after our last steelhead trip, a friend ordered some for his truck as soon as we got back.

Great suggestion! Mostly good reviews for the cover on amazon. But One reviewer reported that the cover colored his seat.
i am sure you would not recommend this if you have similar problem. And I also will only put the covers on for short period (1-3 days) during my fishing or skiing trips.

Thanks!

Yeah definitely haven't seen that on mine.
Like you, though, I only use it when necessary. I enjoy the heated/ventilated seats, and they don't do much through a neoprene cover.
FWIW, I'm no seating expert, but I've read in more than 1 place that leather needs to breathe. So, I think this could be an issue with any cover left on for extended periods.

My brother said he uses an Aries Seat Defender for his Highlander. He keeps it in the back seat and just tosses it on the drivers seat after the gym if need be. Said it works well.

Default Temporary Seat Covers

Anyone utilize any temporary seat covers on their GX? Maybe something that can be cleaned as well.

Thanks!

If you only use them temporarily and remove when you're
done, I'd recommend to pick up a few front neoprene ones from Costco. They are very cheap, can be removed easily for cleaning. Maybe pickup a couple to switch around.
