I went to test drive the GX460 today and was ready to buy but it seems like the car I want doesn't exist! All I want is a black onyx on black or ecru leather GX460 premium with Nav/Mark Levinson and the dealer can't find a single one in the US. Its come to the point where I may just have to order one to get the color combo/options I want. Has anyone ever ordered a GX? How long did it take? I understand production has slowed down a lot right now, but what's the average wait time?

 

I am looking at getting a 2012 when they release it later this year and my dealer has told me the wait for a custom order is about 2-3 months. Inventory will be very low for the near future because of the earthquake in Japan.

 

Yeah, unfortunately, you are probably pretty stuck here. I don't even think the "december" sale they run every year is going to help. Dealers are going to get MSRP for awhile on this car. I just can't stomach the idea of paying sticker for a new car that isn't an exotic.

 

I special ordered mine and waited almost 4 months. I wanted the wide-view monitor system and red paint.
