Official 2nd Gen GX #Modification ( #DIY ) Thread!!
Hi,
Installing an LED bulb in an application that uses the same bulb as a DRL means that you need to use an additional component to bump up the power going to the LED bulb. This basically means that the LED bulb will always operate at full brightness -- regardless of whether you are using it as DRL or high beam -- just a note, as it may be disruptive for other drivers during the day (you would literally be driving with your high beams on all the time).
Assuming you know all that, you would need to get a 9005 LED conversion kit and be sure to select the "canbus" upgrade to get the required additional component.

Are the light models different for the 2016 GX 460? Noticed a most have been 11/12/13's.
Would love a little help if any one could be so kind as to which light model to replace the running board, under vehicle, and High Beams with LED... I gathered from reading that the 5k is best? Thank you, and and all, for the assist!

@BigGreen13:
Please view our 2016 GX460 Lamp Replacement Guide for a bulb listing for your vehicle.
High beams: This H9 LED headlight kit has been a very popular seller, and will do a nice job matching the OEM LED DRL strip.
I *believe* that your running board lights use a 194 bulb, which means that you would need to get a 194 LED bulb.
These Philips 194 LED bulbs are my "goto" bulb in these applications.
Also... FYI for those interested:

Hope this helps,
Steve

The running board light and the under vehicle light is the same light. There are notches that allow the light to shine through to the running board while also illuminating under the vehicle. The interior door light is the same type of bulb as well.
I ordered the High Beam replacement you recommended. Are there install instructions? Is there a good thread with a 2016 install? I noticed the older installation instructions around this thread are from the older headlight assembly. Thank you, all!
Have changed out all the lights, with the exception of the footwell lights in the front and passenger footwell lights underneath the front seats.
Anyone have insight on how to get to these bulbs and what type of bulbs they should be replaced with?
Also the door handle lights?

The lights under the seats are mounted to the fabric covering under the seat. The squarish plastic pieces are just held in with clips but removing them isn't easy and the connector/cable runs into the seat I believe so it isn't a matter of just reaching under and pulling them out.
They're also LEDs and won't have direct replacements. You'll likely need to solder something if you want those changed out. Same with the door handle lights.
