Looks nice, but not nice enough that it makes me want to trade in my 470.

 

It ok looking. I'm happy with mine and wouldn't be trading mine in anyways. It's nice not have a car payment

 

It sure looks like it. They got rid of the fender flares and moldings, and use body lines similar to the Armada. The result is a clean sleek look.

 

I still think the current looking is better.

 

I am really surprised some of the members are comparing to Armada ! Give it a break, The Armada has totally boxy design on the body, compared to the Prado which are more sleeker and more aero dynamic on the body doors panels. I want you;ll take a look at the Toyota LC and you will see the Front and Rear Door Panel design are very similar. , Front Fenders,hoods got a bitter narrower towards the grill, doors the flair on the front has been revamped.
The Tail lamp has got wider

Front is nice, rear is nothing special.

 

I think that once Lexus gets thier hands on it it will look a lot better.

I do not see a door handle on the left rear...maybe they got rid of the barn door??? this one looks like it lifts up

 

It looks as the chassis remains the same, with mods on the exterior, looks like a lift tailgate,and also has a Front drive lane assist radar( which is place below the logo, and the rear got a split open window.

 

I think it is a camera? I believe that is where LX570 places the camera

 

I don't suppose there's a side view?? I too noticed no door handle for the rear...

 

The bullbars and the Headlamps have been trimmed from the current model image, Have a look at the current 2009 model. Yes I agree the rear has go a split window.

 

Because I'm in the process of getting a new car as well, the GX is on my list. I'm more interested in what the interior looks like though, and what kind of new technology is in it; is it a whole lot better than the current model. The next-gen Prado does look indeed softer, which implies it could be more of a highway cruiser, rather than a off-roader.
