noise coming from passenger air vent (video)
I noticed a 'whirring'/ 'buzzing' sound coming from the passenger side air vent, can anyone identify what is causing this noise or if it is normal?

Not sure if this is the issue, the video is a little hard to make out.
But I had to replace the HVAC fan assembly on my GX because it was making odd noises, almost like a bearing had gone out. Kind of a clicking noise. It was actually a pretty straightforward repair, bought the whole unit and replaced myself. You didn't have to tear out the dash, went under where the glove box was. Unit itself was around $300. Car was just outside of warranty, service advisor was dismissive when I first brought it up.
After I replaced it, the noise was gone and it sounded like it should. I probably didn't even need to replace it, I was the only one it bothered. Wife largely couldn't even hear it.
I'm assuming you've already checked the filter and replaced, in case there's some debris in there.

Resolution:
The blower motor was replaced under warranty. If anyone has a similar issue, I would explain the issue as a constant buzzing noise while the fan is on. One easy way to show it to a technician is by setting the fan on the lowest fan speed while the car battery is on but not the engine. Toggling between the lowest fan speed and turning the fan off completely makes the sound obvious for a technician to understand. I had to be a bit persistent as the first technician and service advisor said they didn't hear anything abnormal. I suspect it was because the technician working on the car was checking in the loud garage. The service manager was able to pick up on the noise almost immediately and identified it as the blower motor.
