Is this amount KDSS weeping is considered normal?
My GX has 2 months left on my L/Certified warranty, and I'd like to have the system fixed under warranty if it is showing early signs of failure.
Dealership said this level of "weeping" is considered normal. In my opinion, "weeping" is another way of saying the system is leaking, just not badly enough for them to care.
nope. Find a new dealer who knows their stuff. Everyone else who has posted this dealer promptly replaces it. By any chance did the dealer write this on the workorder or just verbally said normal?

Dealer said there was no failure and that "weeping" is considered normal. There is nothing on the workorder that says this is considered "normal."
Called Lexus Corporate, who reached out to the service advisor. Service advisor told Lexus corporate that there is no failure.
This is Putnam Lexus in NorCal.
Any suggestions for better dealers in the Bay area?
... "Early Signs" and "Failure" are not synonymous ... the Warranty covers actual "Failure" ... not impending. Every single possible failure on a vehicle is impending ...
Clean the area so it is clean and dry ... then drive and inspect for weeping ... the rate specifically. Some minor weeping over many miles from the seals is not abnormal.

For reference, here is the Lexus policy on oil leaks. This does specify powertrain components but I would imagine that this bulletin would apply to the KDSS system.
