^ Yes, AGE ...

Engine Oil oxidizes no matter the miles driven ... plus short trips where the oil does not reach operating temperatures long enough to burn off condensation collected is not doing the engine any favors from an accelerated wear standpoint.

The additives in Coolant that keep gaskets and sealants happy over time do deplete no matter the mileage ... so think Valley Plate Leak.

Rubber does age no matter the mileage ... especially in hot climates ... hoses and belts.

Brake Fluid is Hygroscopic ... absorbing moisture from the environment no matter the mileage ... with Toyota / Lexus Brake Calipers known to seize from internal corrosion when Brake Fluid is not regularly changed ... 10-years is an insanely (not to quote) long time for Brake Fluid to be in service.

... and hopefully not on the "2015" tires ... look at the 4 digit DOT Date Code stamped on the sidewall ... example: 2614 would be the 26th week in the year 2014 as the date of manufacture. 8-years is the safe limit regardless of tread wear due to compound aging ... loss of traction and more prone to puncture damage.

Discount Tire (for example) will not rotate-balance from the 8-year mark for these reasons.

That's a really good point about the tires. In inclement or cold weather they'll be hard as a rock and you can and will have severely reduced grip and breaking power.

Plus oil and filter change, tire rotation each year. If I still have the truck next year, I will start in on what you recommended. Thank you
