I have a 2013 GX 460 with the OEM computer. Is it connected still to Lexus? I do not subscribe to any streaming services. If it is connected how much control does Lexus have over me car still?

 

Lexus Enform for older models was discontinued in 2022.

Thank you for the very quick answer. Reading the thread it appears I will not have to worry about accidently hitting the emergency call button ever again.

ETA:
This begs the question can I unplug the telematics module with no ill effect? Long term storage can be problematic with constant power draws.

 

In the scheme of things, I doubt this would make much difference as there are so many computes/ECU's on a GX that draw parasitic power.

At times, my GX sits for months without use so I use a battery minder that plugs into the OBD port.
