Default Replacing front seat covers

New guy here. I have a 2013 GX 460 and the front seats are shot. I am temporarily covering my shame with some cheap seat covers but I want to replace the actual seat skin itself. I still have my hog ring pliers and a few hog rings laying about but I have no idea where to find good covers. I need black leather with all those perforations for air flow. Any suggestions?

I would at least check the price from a local auto upholstery shop. I had me seats done on my previous 4Runner and it was affordable in my mind and looked factory.
Top quality seat covers are expensive and the price between these options may be minimal.

I have done this on my 2014 on the lower seat drivers seat only, the other areas were okay. Since I replaced the one section, I bought a cover from Lexus to ensure it would match and it was not cheap, but it fit and finish is perfect. There are a lot of aftermarket companies making covers but after researching them I crossed them off the list either due to poor fit, durability or customer service. Maybe others have different opinions.

Whiles you are in there consider replacing the lower cushion foam as it is usually collapsed; this is available from Lexus. I used this video showing a 4runner replacement as a guide and it was spot on but this is the lower section only. The upper section is more complicated due to the airbag.

Did the seats feel close to original after you replaced the bottom cushions and covers? I was thinking about maybe replacing the just the drivers if that would improve the seat comfort a bit.

Yes, the seat was like new when done. The lower cushion is p/n 7150260360.

Pics of the old & new cushion.

Excellent video. I found a lower seat cover (skin?) and ordered it. Supposed to be OEM but found it on ebay so lord only knows where it is coming from. I will reply here after I get it done with my impressions and results.

You can tell by the price it is OEM. If it is cheap, then it is not OEM. Best price for OEM parts is Bell Lexus.

Also note the seat material is different on the Luxury trim vs premium and standard trim. The Luxury has semi-aniline leather material while the others are NuLuxe material.
