Default Am I crazy? Windshield gap?

My 2015 recently started to make a windy, whistling noise from the upper windshield area between 25-35mph. I checked the area between the windshield and roof and there is a gap. I thought for sure it was missing a trim/molding. But I referenced another GX and it also has a gap, although it looks like it possibly has a slim, skinny molding that mine doesn't have. I didn't have my GX when I referenced the other GX so I took pictures. Am I crazy and this noise has been there all along or am I missing some sort of trim piece??

My GX... Notice the gap and small opening

My GX... Another angle

Reference GX... Still a gap but it looks like there is a thin molding on the roof side

Reference GX... No opening like my GX

Can anybody look at their GX or have any knowledge of what I'm experiencing. If there is a molding what is the part number by chance? I googled everything I could and all results came back referencing the side window moldings.

Very easy to check - put some masking tape at gaps and drive.
If noise disappears - that is the thing, if not - it's something else.

Is your windshield OEM or replaced aftermarket?

If anyone has the time to look at thier GX and compare it to my pics I would be very grateful. Like I mentioned, the gap is there and I don't know if that's normal. The top edge of the windshield running across the vehicle has a fairly sharp edge. That made me think there's supposed to be some trim or molding covering it. Just doesn't look/feel factory.

I taped it off and it was still present but not as much, it seemed. I'm starting to think it's always been there and I just now noticed it. Now I can't unhear it! 🤯

I can check in a day or so, we just got some snow last night and my car is covered right now. I would think most after-market glass dont provide a complete seal and dont utilize the factory mouldings that well. That might be the issue?

That could definitely be possible. Thanks for your offer to help!

If I get a chance soon, I'm going to try to go to the dealership across town and have them inspect it.

Here are similar pics from my 2015 for comparison. I have no whistle.

Thank you @Statman for taking time to do that! I really appreciate it. Looks a lot like mine. I'm gonna take a deeper dive and look into it some more. At 35-40mph it sounds like driving on a really windy day when you get that strong gust come across the vehicle and it tries to push you into the other lane. That short whistle you hear when that happens - that's what it sounds like every time I'm in that range of speed.
