Default Wireless dash cam install

Would you recommend/recommend against using a splitter/dongle to install your dash cam? I have seen videos of people taking power from the rain sensor using a splitter but not sure if this is okay long term.

Is the rain sensor always on the passenger side of the vehicle??

thanks in advance!

All about the current draw of the dash cam ... and tapping into a circuit that has the wire gage and respective fuse protection to handle the current draw of all active devices on that specific circuit ... plus the web cam.
