Took my ‘21 GX in for 50k service. They did oil/filter change check fluids etc. Sat down with SA after service to sign paperwork and he tells me my battery failed load test. Battery health had low state of health. By the way never had any starting issues or any other symptoms.
So I’m sitting there expecting him to ask me if they want me to schedule another service to replace it.
He then proceeds to tell me they replaced it under warranty! 😳😁
Anyway, just wanted to share a positive story!

 

same thing happened to my 2014 GX460. At the end of 4 years it won't start due to the battery. Lexus warranty sent a technician and replaced the battery on my driveway. Very convenient.

 

I’m in Texas too, what dealer was it? I go to Lakeway Lexus.

 

at that time in 2018, there is a Lexus warranty number you can call for warranty issues. and for battery they just send a mobile technician to replace it. The Technician was with Sterling McCall Lexus of Houston.
