What's the trick at getting the plug disconnected from the go pedal. I squeezed with all my might and could not get it to release.

 

Look at the connector on the throttle controller and you will see the small tab you need to press. It is easiest to remove the lower access panel, it is only held on by one screw and will provide more access to the plug. It is not easy, or fun, as you press the tab try wiggling the connector slightly back & forth lengthwise, it will come .....

 

I have used this several times and it works great. The wrapped wire presses the clip release.

 

Yes ... the location requires busting some yoga moves to achieve a proper grip to separate the connectors.
