SMS/Text messages

In my 2012 Jeep Wrangler, the system could read texts and I could send canned message choices in response. Is there a way for my 2019 Gx460 base model with navigation to do the same thing?

Have you paired your phone and setup the correct permissions? Have you read your owners manual?

Yes that is why I am confused. I used the the quick start guide and followed it exactly. That is why I am surprised it is not working
