Default GX460 B4 Sixty

Hello everyone, I am prospective gx 460 buyer. Finances dictate it must be used, but based on the many glowing reviews, a well cared for gx = a new gx. Unfortunately, have not found that particular one yet. I am being picky because I do really enjoy my current transportation (Acura RDX) and whatever gx I do buy will be my "retirement vehicle". My hope is when I retire, I will travel all over the US, seeing some amazing sights. Those sights I am eager to see require a vehicle with 4wd. Flirted with the idea of a 4runner, FJ or Land Cruiser. But the GX appears to be the most comfortable and capable SUV to travel both interstate and forest road. I am currently investigating a 2017 luxury trim with all the options sans rear dvd player. It has been regularly serviced at Lexus dealerships. I hoping this may be 'the one'. if it sounds like I am infatuated with gx, I am!! LOL

Have had quite a few disappointments acquiring one So if the stars align this time and I am able to get the 2017, I will let you know. Wish me luck please!!

NIce looking ride and hopefully it checks out for you. Make sure the carfax checks out and review the service intervals. I also just acquired my first GX and it is everything I had hoped it would be. I have had 4Runners, Tacomas, Tundras and Nissan Titans in the past 20 years and this is by far the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. It is quiet, comfortable, safe and very capable for the mild off-roading I will do. I also bought this as a an early retirement present for myself as I wanted something that is low maintenance and low drama. I came REALLY close to getting a new LR Defender and I'm so thankful I passed on that drama queen. You will enjoy the new ride!

What part of TN are you in? I'm just south of Nashville and talked to the guys are Cool Springs for a long time but they could not get me a Nori Green which was the only color I wanted. I had to drive to Oklahoma to get mine!

I live in Waverly, as you remember my little hometown was decimated by a massive flood 1.5 years ago. I was a victim as well, did salvage the house but not much else. Suppose all this gx shopping and research is a form of "retail therapy" but I am really excited to get my GX. My hope is when I am able time wise, head to other communities affected by other natural disasters, help in the clean up and the rebuild. The volunteers we have had here really made a lasting impression on me, suppose my retirement years will be more difficult physical labor wise, but more emotionally rewarding. And I have no earthly idea why the font changed to italics but oh well! LOL

chadmon97 - my 2017 GX was my "retirement vehicle" when I bought it in 2019, as well. I had a GX470 previously and LOVED it, but they never made them black on black, which I wanted. still miss the 470, but the 460 is great. hold out until you find the right one with the color and options you want at a price you can afford - it will be worth it. personal preference, but if I was you, i'd hold out for a Luxury. i upgraded my 2017 luxury last year with a 2020 style grille and I added the sport spoilers front and rear, in black. Lord allowing, i'll still have it when they take my keys away (or they stop selling gasoline, or it gets so expensive i can't afford it...) actually, just talked to a woman today who is 96 and still driving, so there's hope!!!
