2009 Lexus Dark Gray interior trim - Leather touch up
Hi good people, I have some cracks in my driver side leather seat. I have a 2009 gx with the dark gray interior. Is there any SEM or similar good color match you guys have tried on that specific gray.
Thanks

Pole Position
Are you asking for paint that is a color match? I don't think you can paint the cracks in the leather, it's just going to end up on your pants. The fix for that is new leather seat skins.

you can also try Meltonian Charcol Gray, #137 shoe polish...that’s a match...rub it in let it dry, buff it off...it will look great for months and then you’ll have to do it again...

Great idea, Alan!
You just have to remember to wear black or grey pants all the time you're driving the truck, or put a towel down on the seat to prevent it from smudging.
Mine is exactly the same color interior and the crack/wear pattern looks the same!
I'll give it a try once it warms up a little.
Thanks again!!!

I have had good luck with magic mender color flex dye on all my vehicles. A 5oz bottle goes along way with just spot touch ups and i tend to retouch up about every year to keep the leather looking fresh. I have just ordered for my grey leather GX470 i just picked up but ended up with the wrong color as its kind of a guessing game with the color codes. I have the #2130-Dk Gray coming my way soon so i will report back if its a match.
