Default New to the Lexus family.

I’d like to introduce myself and my new car... I just picked up a 2005 GX470 w/ Nav, Mark L, Rear entertainment/DVD... 143,000 miles and the full maintenance history done at a Lexus dealer.
Only issue was leaking rear air springs... other than that, it looks like it rolled off the delivery truck.
luckily someone traded it the day after I wrecked my 2006 Charger w/ 320,000 miles.
So I bought the Lexus for $6,000 including TTL(I work at the dealer)

I’m a “Shop Foreman” at an Audi/Porsche Dealership.
-Audi “Master Guild” Cert
-Vw “Master” Cert
-Porsche “Silver” Cert

I’m a 3rd generation mechanic... I’ve been taking stuff apart since I was old enough to get in my dads tool box. Lol

I love working on German brands because the money is very good. I drive 162 miles a day(round trip), since I love living in the country and own 35 acres. I’ve always loved Toyota/Lexus for their reliability(I have my own weekend shop too).

Anyway heres a picture of my of my new daily. Also, I hope I can help some members with my knowledge of cars. I work on everything from lawnmowers to Lamborghinis. 😂

Welcome! Do you also drive any of those Euro's, or just fix other people's?

I love the way German cars drive (I've owned a VR6 MK3 Jetta, a MB ML-320, and a R50 Mini Cooper S) but I can't stand the constant repairs. Welcome to reliability!

Well of course I own an Audi.. my wife gets a new one every 2 yrs(employee lease deals are amazing). Right now she’s in a 2017 Audi Q3 “Prestige”. I started leasing/buying in 2013... it was her birthday gift. Lol
She’s had an 2013 A4, 2015 A5, and now this one.

I say “Buying/Leasing” because every time the lease term is up... the “trade in” value has been higher than the lease “purchase option”.. so I can roll the equity into the new lease. You have to work the system. Lol

I ordered the yatour brand on amazon. It replaces the cd changer and I just put the module behind the glove box. I didn’t need the aux port or 1 amp usb Charger. So it’s all hidden. 30 min job.
