These were factory mounted on the 4Runner wheels I bought to replace the peeling OEM wheels and dry rotted tires on my 05. Doing a little more digging, they do not seem all that popular with the 4 runner owners. Anybody have them on their GX and if so thoughts?

You're talking about the Grandtreks, right? I've read OK reviews on them. Most feedback seems to line up with what the Tacoma guys say about the factory Toyo Open Country A30 - poor treadlife and marginal off-road traction. I just had the same question come up because I'm looking for a set of new takeoff all-seasons for dedicated summer use (I run snows), and a cheap (and local) set of takeoff A30s came up. So I think it depends on what your intended use is. My GX doesn't go off road, so for on-road use only during the warm months I'm probably willing to take a chance.

I threw them on CL and will see what happens. If no sale in a week or so I'll probably mount them otherwise I'll get new tires for the stock GX wheels.
