Default Front strut change out

Could someone with a tech back round please confirm the torque specs that I have seen for the top and bottom attachment locations of the entire set of hardware for the OEM strut. Thank you.

I think this might help. I did a quick search on strut replacement. This is out of the factory service manual

Default Tdoll

Thanks a ton for the info. Hey do know of any place I might obtain a manual like that? I've checked the basic front line sources, I can understand the rarity. I'm somewhat interested in reassembly, possible tips on the sway bar. I'm just about to drop that and that looks like it may be a hand full to get back in I hadn't considered. Same with the A arm but there's room to work and jack.

Thanks again,
Peter

You are very welcome! If you have non KDSS, sway bar is easy. Not sure on KDSS.

I bought my manuals online. Google it and get the cheapest you can find.

Default Front strut change out

There's no mention of the strut going down between the steering arm and the LCR the way mine came out or staying above it as I did on reassembly. Either way was I missing some thing, extremely challenging in both directions the fight between the steering arm and and the CV boot just didn't seem right. Any insight on this before I venture the other side some day? Also I believe the above attachment doesn't have the torque value for the sway bar front brackets.
