20 inch wheels on 04 GX

20 inch wheels on 04 GX
Hi, I just joined this forum. I look forward to chatting with everyone. I have a question. Can I take the 20 inch wheels off my 2001 expedition and put them on my 04 GX? If so, will negatively impact the car safety and performance? I'm just doing it for the looks. I love the wheels. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Driver School Candidate
The stock tire is a 265/65R17 which comes out to 30.6 inches diameter. If you go any larger diameter I'm thinking you get rubbing in turns. There's an entire 'off road' Lexus forum out there. They make all sorts of changes - they'd know for sure. I'd search this forum for 'tires and wheels' and see what pops up.

- Diameter: 16.0'' - 17.0'';
- Width (inches): 7 - 7.5;
- Offset (mm): 14.
- 6 x 139.7
- Diameter: 17.0'' - 20.0'';
- Width (inches): 7.5 - 10;
- Offset (mm): 0 - 25.
