Default New wheels on 07 GX - 20" LE with 275/55/20

Just put these on today thanks to another new member who did the same wheel setup. I wound up going with 275/55/20 Bridgestone Alenzas which are big but fit. The car handles a lot better on the street and the tire / wheel combo fills the wheel well.

This is my DD and I didn't expect to modify it (that sickness is reserved for other cars) but I got tired of the street handling with the OEM 17" since I drive a bit more on the aggressive side.

I like that look. So you just popped the 17's off and put the 20's on. No suspension/air bag issues doing this?

Correct. From what I've read other people have used 275/55/20. The speedo is off by about 3mph at 70 (reads lower than actual speed), but other than that no issues.

I've ordered some adhesive Lexus emblems with a black background that should cover up the OEM Toyota center cap logo holes once I pop the badge off. The OEM center caps do not fit, and the L emblem is not a direct transfer so I'm having to figure out a different solution.

Looking good man, glad you joined the 20" 4runner club

Let me know what you come up with on the center caps.

Wow, that looks really nice! There's a set available local to me, but here in pot-hole city DC metro, I need big meaty tires.

I have them on my Sequoia as well with meaty Cooper Zeons. Unfortunately they didn't switch.

Being OEM wheels they can take quite a beating. If the price is good I'd highly recommend them

It's a very tempting deal. Brand new oem take offs including tpms for 1500/obo

I know this is an old thread but did those not rub at all even on full lock with those 275/55/20? I'm looking at a set currently and my suspension is 100% stock

If there was rubbing it was only very slight and only at absolute full lock. I don't recall there being any though.
