Rim Width on GX470
Tried researching and i couldn't find an answer. Everyone always mentions their tire sizes, but not rim width. I'm not too good when it comes to tires so if i'm missing something please inform me. Ive been looking to buy rims and have been going through the sizes. I want 20's or 22's (will they bend with a thick tire on all these potholes in LA?) and i see 8.5 and 10 inch variations in width. Which ones will be better and more aggressive looking? Will they even fit or rub with a higher profile tire so they don't bend?
So pretty much, will 8.5 or 10 in both fit the gx470 as far as rim width is concerned?

You need the specs of the wheel / tire to know if it'll rub for sure or not but in general an 8.5 wheel should not rub. Im running 18" / 9" wheels with a 0 offset and I dont have any rubbing. Well it did rub a little at first but that was because my tire is just short of 33".
