And again -- more congratulations! I'm looking at a mid mileage (139k) 04 GX tomorrow, so I may add one to the garage as well. Do enjoy and I will be looking forward to seeing the changes you make to the vehicle here in the future!

Five-day Road Trip!
Just finished a five-day road trip with a group of friends (caravan of three vehicles), less than one-month I purchased the GX used. Traveled between Seattle, WA to Banff, AB and about 100km short of Jasper further north.
Total miles driven: Approximately a little over 1,700 miles.
Miles put onto vehicle since purchased: Just north of 4,000 miles or about 6,500 km.
Trip was a huge success and the GX, I swear, was designed for long-haul drives. Day 1 consisted of about 12 hours of driving with about 2 hours of stops for meals, bio-breaks, and petrol/gas. Never got tired of driving.
Ironically, after we crossed the Canadian border at the Peace Arch, another CL member and GX owner, Vims, sent me a PM asking me if my license plate matched certain characters. Sure enough, it was me! I was spotted on Hwy 15... Such a small world!
So... obligatory picture of the GX; This is at the parking lot right below the Athabasca Glacier in Alberta for a short hike to the 'end' of the glacier. Approximate altitude was about 6,000 feet (about 1,850 metres):
For some other random pictures I took during the trip --
Me driving... That's Peyto Lake in the background.
Lake Louise (Banff National Park):
Peyto Lake
Columbia Icefields -- Athabasca Glacier
Sunwapta Falls
Banff and Jasper National Park is probably one of the most 'photogenic' parks in the world. The drive and scenery were just amazing. You Canadians are very lucky to have it!
Cheers,
Kermee

I have an 03 GX-470 with 151,000 miles and it runs like a champ! Welcome to the Club! I got it in 2007 with 40,000 miles and have had no major issue with it. I just maintain it and fix little things that come up. Plan to keep it to over 250K!

Finally got around to installing the LED amber 7440 rear turn lamps from iJDMtoy in the Sport Tail Lamp assemblies. I had the 'Chrome Stealth' amber bulbs in there before.
Cheers,
Kermee

I may drop a little coin the 'ol GX on enhancements. Don't much visit CL anymore since the 'changes', but the GX has been an incredible machine, most reliable vehicle we have ever owned out of over 50+ including other Lexus's. Tough to let go of something that has been paid for.
Welcome to the GX family.
