Default Backup sensor system

Just installed backup sensor system. I got the rear kit from eBay and the install was pretty straight forward. I bought red sensors and used red salsa touch up paint. I installed a set on my Sequioa and mom's sienna not bad for $40 and about 3 hrs labor.

I wired everything through the driver side rear harness in the trunk area. You have to lift up the carpet. The reverse wire is the yellow/red 12 gauge wire in the harness.

Thanks - Sid

That's an easy one. i bought a car with one but on my sequoia it was really easy. Just get a pioneer avh-3300bt then purchase one of those ebay camera. Instead of mounting it in the plate, i screwed it to the dome light. At night when i want to back up, i simply lower the window 3 inches and she's good to go. i don't have to worry about moisture or wet visibility. the radio was only $275 and now i have bluetooth, divx, dvd, sd card and backup camera.

I have some pics on my iphone. You can't really tell any difference from stock. look up ebay for kit is about $40 and includes everything you need.

THanks,
Sid

It's exactly what I did also, I couldn't find a sensor with salsa red color so I ended up repainting them.
