Changed the battery in the key fob.
It uses a CR1616, which I paid way too much for.

The mpg gain is likely largely from getting fresh brakes on. The old ones were probably dragging robbing you of 2-3 mpg. The rest gains are likely from spark plugs! Good work, sir! The truck stance is much improved and looking great!

I left my sunroof wide open when it rained...so that was awesome.

After a squishy, cold drive home, it's been drying out in the garage with fans and dehumidifiers running for a couple days, feels pretty dry again. Bonehead move.

The weathertech mats caught a lot of it, and I was able to empty them out the doors, but the front seats and center console got it pretty good.

Ya, I put it back together today and took it for a drive, everything works, no funny smells, I got lucky.

Changed the Mag Clutch Relay due to the blinking AC light, but now a week later the light is blinking again. I think my ac compressor is probably on it's last legs

Got new 'upgraded' shoes. When from 265/65R17 Hankook i-cept Snow Tires ---> 265/70R17 MAXXIS Bighorn 764 M/T. Zero fitment issues, stock lift. Super happy with the size choice, essentially it's a 31" tire.

Front drivers seat got some spacers to lift the front. I took the entire chair out to mess with fitment and wow was it dirty and crusty between the chair and center console.

After carpet cleaner, steam and wet-vac.

Replaced the spark plugs.
Number 8 was pretty rough looking (passenger side, by the firewall). It looked like it was still a factory original plug. Which was odd since number 7 (drivers side by the firewall) is the one that is hard to get out - and it looked fine.

BTW, you will want a swivel socket for number 7.

Great tip, Chip!
Here's my experience with it. I did not have a swivel socket and made it work, but that swivel would have been sweet!:

A couple of things recently:

Made a better cup holder. Used a piece of scrap 2x8 I had laying around, cut it to fit, drilled out 3" holes and stained it gray. It was all things I already had so why not. It fits over the existing cup holder and fits pretty tight. So it's easily removed as well.

Gutted the cd changer in order to put the owner's manuals there and free up more glove box room.

A gauge set will tell you if the compressor is shot.
I never saw a blinking AC light when my AC relay was on the fritz. Maybe you have low freon?

Mine is suffering a regrigerant leak, and I've never seen a blinking AC light, so I'm guessing it's a different issue.

Thanks! I did the brakes and plugs about 10 days apart, no doubt the brakes helped with mpg. But I did notice more gains after the plugs, especially on a 600 mile road trip!

When you say stock lift do you mean you didn't install a lift and you're just using the suspension adjustment to the high setting? I just bought my first GX470 today... 09 model, so forgive my ignorance. Trying to learn! I don't have an interest in an aftermarket lift at the moment but need to put new wheels and tires on it. Trying to figure out what the biggest size I can go with is without cutting the body or a lift. Thanks!
